Soft-Poke Bonnet
Materials List

• A 14"-18" straw hat from your local craft-store with a nice wide brim.
• Glue gun, glue sticks.
• Bias tape, trim or ribbon to edge the brim.
• 1/2-3/4 yard of desired fabric for the capote.
• 3+ yards of coordinating ribbon.
• Silk flowers or other desired embellishments.
• A nice long strip of edged cotton, wide lace or eyelet to line your inner brim.
• A piece of regular cotton to line the inner hat.
• Scissors
• A sewing machine if you like (I will be bringing my spare for the use of workshop participants).
• A chair pillow :)
• Extra trim and such if you like.
• Workshop is only $6 if you are only to make a soft-poke bonnet (please try to bring correct change).
